The nurses provide a wide range of services including:

- cervical smears
- blood pressure and heart disease checks

- Counter weight management programme
- ear syringing
- travel advice and immunisations
- asthma checks
- diabetic checks
- ‘FLU’ vaccinations
- advice for a healthy lifestyle.
Appointments can be made for the following times:

Health Visitor(s)
All children under five years are allocated to our health visitors. They are available during baby clinics (Mon 1:30 – 3:30pm) no appointment necessary, for developmental concerns, support and advice. They are also available for telephone advice by phoning 020 8525 1250; you may be required to leave a message.
Antenatal Clinic
Mondays and Tuesdays: 9:00am – 12:10pm
This clinic is staffed by midwives from the Homerton hospital and our practice doctors. By appointment through reception.
Baby Clinic
Wednesdays 1:30 – 3:30pm
This is a walk in ‘well baby’ clinic for immunisations and for monitoring your child’s growth and development, it is staffed by the health visitor and a practice nurse and a doctor. Please book in at reception upon your arrival.
Developmental Checks
Thursdays 2:00 – 3:20
6 week and 18 months developmental checks with the doctor by appointment.
Weighing
You may weigh your baby / toddler outside of baby clinic hours once you have been instructed on how to do so correctly by a staff member. Please check for times and availability through reception.
Diabetic Clinic
Various days & times by invitation. In addition to their usual care, patients with diabetes are invited for a complete medical check up once a year. During the appointment they will see a practice nurse and Doctor.
COPD Clinic
Wednesday afternoons (weekly) by invitation
Counter Weight Management Programme
If you are overweight and would like to join one of our groups, please talk to one of our Practice Nurses or your GP.
Smoking Cessation
By appointment through reception. An initial 30 minute appointment with one of our practice nurses, and then 15 minute follow up appointments for up to 3 months, for advice and continuing support. To avail of this you must be ready to set a quit date and be seen weekly for the first 4 weeks. Nicotine replacement therapy can be prescribed for up to 12 weeks under this scheme.

We also offer our patients whose first language is not English a service called language line. The doctor or nurse can obtain an advocate in many different languages using the telephone on hands free which enables a three way conversation to take place. Please advise reception that you will require this service when booking the appointment.
